Tier List Hub

In Start Your Soccer Career, not every trait and training event is equal. Some picks raise your overall faster, protect you from injury slumps, or unlock Golden Ball contention earlier. Others look flashy but waste a Roll when you could have secured a permanent stat boost.

This tier list hub ranks the options players care about most, based on Roblox page mechanics, community feedback, and progression math from the first month after the July 2026 release.

What we tier

Our lists focus on decisions you make with Rolls — the same resource you get from codes and milestone rewards:

Best TraitsPermanent player traits from roll events
Training Events PrioritySeasonal training blocks ranked by ROI

Traits define long-term ceilings. Training events define short-term spikes. Strong careers balance both instead of chasing one legendary trait while neglecting weekly growth.

How tiers work

We use standard S–D ranking:

  • S tier — pick or reroll until you get it; large overall impact or unlocks trophy paths
  • A tier — strong most careers; worth a Roll if you have extras
  • B tier — situational; fine if it matches your build path
  • C tier — only take when out of Rolls or it fills a specific role need
  • D tier — reroll unless you are speedrunning retire records

Tier lists are community-ranked guides, not datamined files. The game hides exact formulas. When updates rebalance events, we revise lists and note changes in patch notes.

Using tier lists with guides

Tier lists tell you what to pick. Guides tell you when:

Rolls economy reminder

Every reroll has opportunity cost. Redeem active codes first, plan sessions with the Roll Planner, and save bulk Rolls for trait windows that appear once per season. Burning Rolls on C-tier training when an S-tier trait event is two weeks away is the most common early mistake.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common questions.

Are tier lists official?

No. They reflect community consensus and live-server testing since the July 2026 release. Always adapt to your current build and patch version.

Should I reroll B-tier traits?

If you have spare Rolls and no S/A event on the horizon, yes. If Rolls are low, take B-tier and bank resources for the next window.

Do tiers change after updates?

Yes. Training event weights and trait pools can shift. Re-read lists after major patches.

Traits vs training events — which matters more early?

Training events for overall pace in years 1–3; traits for ceiling from mid-career onward.
